>> August 9 - Left Twin Lake and ran out bootleggers from Camas (?) Spur; Got 1 madam and Jane and 1 P.I. also 1 at Booze; Then went up toward Summit and found fire in cap of C M Smith of Oakland; Told him to report in Placerville; Then came on to Myers
>>August 30 - Left for (Sea or Gea - probably intended - Georgetown) Ranger Station with Pitch (Paul P. Pitchlynn - from District Office in charge of Personnel, Inspections and Training - as listed in 1928 Organizational Directory) and Bauman went to Bald Mountain and Uncle Toms; Breakfast at Ranger Station $0.50; Left ranch and went to Little South Fork bridge and back to Uncle Toms; Bridge will be completed in about 1 week
>> September 17 - Left Placerville at 9 AM for Whaler Fire; Fight fire all night
