Electronic devise to record tree and plot cruise data in the field. Information could be downloaded to computer in the office. There is a a port for a cable connection.
The keys are programmed: Slope %, PP (for ponderosa pine); LP (lodgepole; ES (engelmann spruce, DBH, etc. Key function is hand written above the key. Plastic covers the keys to keep out moisture and dirt. Region 2 volume table and a table for percent of tree volume by 16 ft logs are taped to the back of the instrument. Used on the Nebraska National Forest, Pine Ridge Ranger District.
