Received a Bachelor of Science Degree in forest management from the Oregon State University in 1956. He began his Forest Service career in 1958 following a 2-year stint in the U.S. Navy. Leonard retired in 1993 as Associate Chief. First Forest Service job was as a Junior Forester on the Stanislaus National Forest. |
