An Interview with Tom Schenarts >>Oral history interview with Tom Schenarts by James Wall, February 7, 2022, Missoula, MT >>Tom Schenarts was born in New Haven, CT, in 1933. He attended the University of Connecticut where he was President of the Forestry Club. He began his career as a Graduate Forester in the Priest Lake area of northern Idaho. He served on the Newport RD, the Clark Fork RD, and most notably was the Ranger on the fabled Bungalow District on the Clearwater. His interview includes several anecdotes about life on the old in-and-out districts.
