Eric White Oral History 1983 Born in 1896, Pittsburgh, PA. White moved to Montana in 1915. Served in the US Army during World War I. Worked for the Forest Service in Montana for 36 years as a ranger on the Absaroka, Deerlodge, Helena, and Gallatin National Forests. Donate his photographs and papers concerning his Forest Service career to the Montana Historical Society, Helena, MT Includes a report of the Bear Trap Fire of 1935. Oral history was conducted by the Montana Historical Society. Interviewer Laurie Mercier. |
