Toiyabe National Forest Rangers >> The Toiyabe National Forest is located in northern and central Nevada and was established in March 2, 1907. It ceased to exist in 1932, when it was absorbed by Nevada National Forest but was reestablished in 1938 from parts of Humboldt and Nevada. Since 1995, it has been administratively combined with Humboldt National Forest. The forest is subdivided into three ranger districts: Austin-Tonopah, Bridgeport, and Carson. It also encompasses the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area. >> See the Humboldt National Forest Ranger List in object record 2021.001.028a >> Thanks to Teresa Dixon, the Humboldt-Toiyabe Forest Archaeologist and present district rangers for compiling this this list of District Rangers, by Ranger Districts.
