Second generation forester who spent his early years growing up in a small town near the Salmon River in northern California. He earned his bachelor's degree in Forestry from Utah State University. While in school, he spent a few summers working on the Straight Canyon Barometer Watershed in Price, UT. After he graduated he became a respected leader and pioneer of the first generation of wildland hydrologists in the Forest Service. |
