Dixie National Forest Ranger Roll Call and Supervisors >> History - The 2.0-million-acre Dixie National Forest, established in 1904, today is comprised of the acreage of three original National Forests-the Dixie, the Aquarius (later Powell), and the Sevier. Very early in its existence, the Dixie National Forest also included acreage in Nevada and Arizona until new National Forests in those states absorbed those acreages.
