Humboldt National Forest Rangers >> The Humboldt National Forest is located in northeastern Nevada and was created when Ruby Mountain National Forest combined with Independence National Forest in 1908. Since 1995, it has been administratively combined with Toiyabe National Forest, though the two remain legally and geographically distinct. The forest is subdivided into three ranger districts: Ely, Mountain City-Ruby Mountains-Jarbidge, and Santa Rosa. >> See the Toiyabe National Forest Ranger List in object record 2021.001.058b >> Thanks to Teresa Dixon, the Humboldt-Toiyabe Forest Archaeologist and present district rangers for compiling this this list of District Rangers, by Ranger Districts.
