ACM Selective Logging in Ponderosa Pine Stand 1932 ACM (Anaconda Copper Mining Company) until 1915 known as the Amalgamated Copper Mining Company) managed forest land in the Blackfoot River area of Montana. ACM operated a large sawmill at Bonner. The numbered trees are part of the Forest Service's Northern Forest Experiment Station research. Card 1 is tree #1607; Card 2 is 37" DBH with a bad fire scar and Card 3 is tree #1610. Scanned |
