Back Cover - 1996 Historic California Fire Engine Calendar >> Rear view of Tanker 2-10. This tanker was stationed at the EI Cariso Station on the Cleveland National Forest from spring of 1948 to the spring of 1960. This Tanker was the initial attack tanker on the Decker Fire in August 1959. Five Forest Service employees were killed when the fire blew up. Tanker 2-10 was burned over (scorched) in that fire. |
